DEVELOPMENT
In the weeks leading up to the event, the OUTRACE installation was built up and thoroughly tested in a warehouse at Audi's Ingolstadt headquarters. Teams of metalworkers, builders, robotics engineers, computer engineers and software developers were on site to fine tune the physical and virtual systems.
TECHNOLOGY

The system was capable of handling over 10.000 messages in a week. 1KW WEB SERVER was the entry point for the end user. Each video message was encoded at 8 frames per second, at a resolution of 1280x850 and uploaded to outrace.org and Youtube.
